It Hurts

it hurts to ignore your messages,
it hurts to avoid eye contact with you,
it hurts to not be able to make you smile like I have so many times before,
it hurts to pretend that I don't like you that way, 
it hurts to sit here and act as if I don't care,
it hurts to feel this way and act as if I don't realise it.
